Les Pousses Vertes is the name of our regenerative market garden located in the lush Limousin area.
We love growing delicous, healthy food in harmony with nature and we want to make a contribution towards a more sustainable agri-food system. As every big change starts with a small step, Les Pousses Vertes is a little farm that is contributing to that change.
We grow our vegetables using regenerative gardening techniques and permaculture practices. Our vegetables grow in rich, healthy soil from which they can absorb and hold the best taste and maximum nutritional value until they reach your plate.

Why we grow food
Earth care, people care, future care
At a global level, agriculture is one of the biggest drivers of biodiversity loss and soil degradation and is responsible for 9.3 billion tonnes of CO2 equivalent of greenhouse gases (FAO, 2021).
However, the problem is the solution : Agroecology can protect and regenerate biodiversity and soil health, reduce greenhouse gases whilst also improving resilience to climate change.
We want to help build a better world for our children and future generations.

We have travelled a lot in the past and lived in Europe, South America and Africa. These experiences made us who we are today and have a lot to do with why we embarked on this adventure.
Although Les Pousses Vertes was formally created in 2022, planning already started much earlier as a dream of living in the countryside and having a closer connection to nature. Over the years, our dream turned into a calling, fueled by the helpless frustration over the state of the natural world and growing awareness that we have to play an active part in the change process that we were longing for.
Les Pousses Vertes is a life decision and our personal opposition to the climate and biodiversity crisis.
The truth is: the natural world is changing. And we are totally dependent on that world. It provides our food, water and air. It is the most precious thing we have and we need to defend it.
